The "Zeil" shopping strip
At the heart of the inner city, there's one shop after another on the "Zeil". It's clothes without end here. If you're looking for a book shop, then you'll search in vain. The "MyZeil" shopping centre offers spectacular architecture, and there's a great view from the Zeilgalerie viewing platform.
Fressgass
There's a whole host of restaurants and delicatessen shops between Opernplatz and Boersenstrasse. Event tips: Fressgass Festival in June and the Rheingau Wine Market in August.
Goethestrasse
the "Fifth Avenue" of Mainhattan: designer brands, luxury fashion, jewellery, art dealers...
Berger Strasse
Village-like atmosphere invites you to enjoy a leisurely stroll and linger a while in the numerous street cafés. Specialist shops and boutiques alternate with pubs and cider bars.
Hanauer Landstrasse
At first glance, with its industrial look and multitude of car showrooms, this district doesn't appear very inviting. However, the many outlets (designer clothing, sporting goods) are a popular destination for bargain hunters from throughout the Frankfurt region.
